Snow much fun....Not snow much

We were forecasted to get around 5 inches of snow on Wednesday night, but in reality, it only turned out to be about 2. It was significant enough though to get all dressed up and have Noah experience playing in the snow for the first time.

Noah loved standing on the porch just looking at the snow, but actually getting in the snow was a whole different story! He was a little leary, and it was really hard for him to walk in the snow, so he wasn't a big fan! We decided that maybe pulling him around in the laundry basket would be fun for him.

And it was...for about 5 seconds, and then he face planted and was absolutely terrified of the snow from there on out! So in we went.

It's pretty safe to say that this little guy is much happier inside just like his mommy and daddy! Maybe we'll try again next time it snows!

11 Months Old

It's hard to believe that we are just one month away from our little guy being a year old! Noah is taking steps on his own more and more, but hasn't fully committed to walking just yet! It won't be long though! He is starting to learn more and more and master things like waving and giving kisses. He is so much fun and loves to be silly! What a blessing it is to raise a healthy, fun little boy!

Crowders Mountain

On Sunday, February 7, the weather was beautiful so we took full advantage of it! We Headed towards Crowders Mountain and decided to hike up to the top. Little did we know, we picked the hardest trail to get there! It was exhausting, but we had a great time and Noah loved it!

Uh oh...

Noah has been getting closer and closer to walking. He has been pulling up and cruising all over the place, but today he began taking some legitimate steps all on his own.
He is still a little timid, but that is perfectly fine with me! I am not trying to rush this walking thing! But what a joy it is to see how he is growing and developing...even though it's happening a little too fast for my liking! Won't be long now before we have a walker on our hands!
