Dan and I had "discussed" names since before I even found out I was pregnant. We agreed on lots of girls names, but when it came to boys names, all we knew was that his middle name would be Daniel (following a Swartz family tradition). There were times I was almost in tears fearing that we would never agree on a name!
For Valentine's Day, Dan decided to surprise me! I had loved the name Noah from the very beginning, but Dan wasn't completely sold. So, he decided to study through the bible everywhere that Noah was mentioned. After his in depth study, he fell in love with all that the name Noah stood for and began his top secret project. He enlisted the help of our friend Brandon to help him create a graphic that would signify all that he had studied that we could hang in that nursery. So for Valentine's Day I received this:
Best Valentine's Day present ever! We had a name and not just any name, but a name that was full of meaning! What a blessing to have this canvas in the nursery as a constant reminder of God's grace towards such undeserving sinners. Praying that our Noah will come to know and obey the Lord just as the Noah of the bible did.
